The iPhone — Conclusion

This is part 8 of my detailed breakdown of Android and iOS in 2023. To return to the beginning, click here.

The decision to use Android or iOS is highly personal. For you, iMessage may be a strong enough reason to stay on iOS on its own. Or maybe, the functionality of Android is enough to keep you on Android. Thankfully, both platforms are competent and pretty similar in terms of core capabilities.

For me, despite the occasional struggle of not having iMessage, I feel more on top of my life and communications with the functionality that Android provides.

While this may be true in 2023, it may not be the case again in the future. Every few years, I buy an iPhone to see if things have changed. And maybe next time, it will.

If you have gotten this far and are curious to try out Android, I would recommend either the Pixel 7, the Galaxy S23, or Galaxy S23 Ultra. I went with the Galaxy S23 due to its smaller size and it has been phenomenal so far.
